WCRF UK is the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity.

We are seeking a Digital Fundraising Officer to join our small but busy fundraising department. This is an exciting time to be joining WCRF, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary in the UK and enter our new fundraising strategy. We do not receive any government or statutory funding, so fundraising (both restricted and unrestricted) is the life blood of our organisation.

The Digital Fundraising Officer position is new to WCRF and is part of our new fundraising strategy.

The post holder will work closely with colleagues across Communications, Digital/Web and Fundraising to develop and drive WCRF’s digital fundraising. You will work with colleagues in these teams to identify digital fundraising needs and priorities, and to develop and implement plans to increase income generation, acquisition, supporter loyalty, retention and engagement.

In particular you will help to develop our engagement, which will involve creating supporter journeys, both online and offline, with a view to converting supporters to lifetime donors. This will involve maximising our digital platforms to increase brand awareness and attract younger audiences; analysing trends in fundraising; developing key touch points, and reporting on performance and progress.

You will also look at ways to increase data capture to help expand our pool of contacts, and analyse user journeys.

The ability to organise your work, build excellent rapport with people inside and outside the charity and your willingness to undertake tasks to support the entire team are essential.

If you are interested in this role and feel you possess the necessary requirements, please submit a current CV and covering letter (maximum 2 pages) to hr@wcrf.org or HR, WCRF UK, 22 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3HH by the closing date. You must have current right to work in the UK.
