A study to explore whether people with higher levels of vitamin D, would be less likely to develop skin cancer by Dr Jolieke Van der Pols, of Queensland Institute of Medical Research. Findings suggested to a higher risk of some types of skin cancer with higher levels of vitamin D, but a reduced risk with a particular type of skin cancer, squamous cell carcinoma.
